A few photographers and I from Greg Bumatay’s wedding photography class went to  downtown Los Angeles to have  some fun with some models. We started at the Union Station then worked our way to the Disney Concert Hall.  It’s so much fun exploring new places to photograph especially when I’m with people who are familiar with the area.  Today was also the first time I got to experience L.A’s public transportation system.  Our group got a private bus ride from an off duty bus. I’m not sure how we pulled it off, but it was fun.

Special thanks to  Greg Bumatay for organizing this shoot and the models for letting us photograph them.

  1. Ari…have a question about a few of your picts. I noticed on several of your shots…you keep the legs of the model out of focus. Was wondering what the purpose of that effect…is that used for part of composition?

  2. @herman- I don't know if there's a purpose to it. I just do it because i'm experimenting with new styles. It's the tilt shift effect which is the fab right now with some of my friends.
